These numbers come from flights we observed ourselves, not from the manufacturer's spec sheet. The service ceiling says what the aircraft can do; these say how it is actually flown. The median is given so that one high-altitude ferry flight or one short airport circuit does not shift the whole picture, and the upper figure is the 95th percentile rather than the maximum: in any sample this large there are a few corrupt frames, and the maximum reports exactly those.
Flight duration comes from somewhere else: the flight's own recorded time, which we have for only some flights. This is not the same as “how long the receivers heard the aircraft” — for an aircraft heard from a distance that one can be several times the flight duration. Where no such time was recorded, we write “unknown” here and put no other number in its place.
